I appreciate that these sort of programmes are funded through school budgets, parental contributions and PTA fund raising initiatives. But you might also be aware that there are various grants which are currently available for workshop schemes such as ours and we want to make sure that we can help as much as we can in this respect.

Firstly, we will supply free of charge a DVD copy for each participating child (maximum 30) which you, as the school, are free to “sell on” to the parents if you so wish.

Secondly, we have teamed up with the UK’s foremost adviser on educational fund raising, Fundraising Skills Ltd (www.fundraisingskills.co.uk) who have trained over 1000 school staff since 2003. They have extensive experience in this field and have put together for us a bespoke written pack (CD) containing model applications, grant directories and fundraising resources. This can be purchased for just £99 – please contact Fundraising Skills directly on 0191 276 3261 or e-mail: Info@fundraisingskills.co.uk quoting EdutainTV Fundraising.

Lastly, you may want to try approaching these following organisations who offer grants:

• A new £135 million-fund “Find Your Talent” and Creative Partnership schemes designed to unlock the creative talent of all young people. More information on these programmes is available at http://www.creative-partnerships.com

• Awards for All at http://www.awardsforall.org.uk. Schools applying for any funding through this scheme would have to do so for the sole purpose of extra-curricular activity i.e outside regular schools hours such as an after school, holiday time or lunchtime clubs.
